CINCINNATI (AP) — Prosecutors have rested their case and the defense has begun calling its witnesses, which the lead attorney has said will include the white police officer facing murder charges in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black motorist after an Ohio traffic stop. The trial of former University of Cincinnati officer Ray Tensing, 26, resumed Monday morning with the judge announcing that one of four alternate jurors had been dismissed after raising privacy concerns. Hamilton County Judge Megan Shanahan told jurors she wants them to feel safe and won't release juror questionnaires they filled out while the trial is going on. Prosecutors wrapped up their case with a series of witnesses who examined or analyzed evidence, including the gun used, in the July 2015 shooting of 43-year-old Sam DuBose.
