Gov't wants phone makers to lock out most apps for drivers

MILLMONT, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania man says he grabbed a woman by the hair and "gently smooshed" a pizza in her face before she shot him. The (Sunbury) Daily Item (http://bit.ly/2gfupqv ) reports that's how 34-year-old Brandon Doan described his shooting Oct. 12 by 31-year-old Jennifer Boop. Based on Doan's testimony, a district judge on Tuesday ordered Boop to stand trial on attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other charges. The couple shared a home in Millmont, about 50 miles north of Harrisburg. Boop didn't testify, but police say she told them she called 911 then called her mother and Doan's mother before trying to help stop the bleeding.
