Clouds, showers expected Friday in the Wyoming Valley

Even with holiday creep, Black Friday is a big shopping day

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; There are no major traffic issues or delays to report early Friday morning, but expect patches of intermittent gridlock throughout the day in the township and other high-commerce areas as people head out for one of the year&#8217;s biggest shopping days.</p><p>Some areas of snarled traffic have sprouted up along Kidder Street near the Wyoming Valley Mall, but most major roadways, including Interstates 81 and 80, Route 315 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike appear clear.</p><p>In Kingston, Wyoming Avenue has some areas of congestion. Expect the same on Main Street in Plymouth and at the top of William Street in Pittston.</p><p><strong>Check <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/traffic" target="_blank">www.timesleader.com/traffic</a> for updates throughout the day. </strong></p><style>
