DALLAS TWP. &#8212; Metz Culinary Management has promoted Kim Brenkus to Director of Learning and Development. In this role, Brenkus will be responsible for the development, coordination, and presentation of training for all Metz programs.As Director of Learning and Development, Brenkus will assist with performance improvement activities utilizing Metz processes, systems and tools. She will also help aid Metz dietitians by delivering sports nutrition programs, assisting with nutrition classes, and providing general dietary support as needed.Prior to briefly leaving Metz Culinary Management, Brenkus served as Metz&#8217;s Director of Clinical and Nutrition Services. Most recently, she served as a Director of Nutrition Services for Gwinnett Medical Center. Brenkus has previously worked in contract food service as the Divisional Director of Clinical Nutrition and Wellness with accounts in more than seven states.Brenkus is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and the Georgia Dietetic Association. She currently serves as the Chair of Education for the Management of Food and Nutrition System DPG, and previously served on the Executive Board of the Clinical Nutrition Management DPG as Chair and Marketing Chair. Brenkus has also been a speaker at the Food and Nutrition Conference Expo (FNCE) and developed a management training module for AND.She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Sciences from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Lake Erie College.
