<p>The Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association has announced its boys soccer all-state team, and the Wyoming Valley Conference saw three players land on the prestigious list.</p><p>Crestwood senior midfielder Kyle Gegaris, Wyoming Seminary senior midfielder Andrew Kim and Lake-Lehman senior forward Nick Wnuk were all tabbed to the all-state team after impressive fall campaigns. Gegaris was the league&#8217;s leader in points and goals this past season, registering 42 goals and 12 assists, while Kim scored 20 goals and added four assists and Wnuk scored 21 goals and tacked on 13 assists.</p><p>Gegaris was Division 1&#8217;s most-feared goal scorer this season. Aside from seeing personal success, Gegaris led the Comets to the District 2 3A final against Dallas, beating second-seeded Tunkhannock en route.</p><p>&#8220;He&#8217;s the smartest soccer player I&#8217;ve ever seen in my entire life,&#8221; Coughlin senior defender Matt Davison said of Gegaris. &#8220;Playing with him since we were seven, no one&#8217;s trained harder, no one&#8217;s trained smarter, no one&#8217;s played with their head as much as Kyle has.&#8221;</p><p>Kim was a key cog in the Blue Knights success this season. As the team&#8217;s leading scorer, Kim led Wyoming Seminary to the District 2 2A final and the program&#8217;s record third-straight state tournament appearance.</p><p>Wyoming Seminary fell to eventual PIAA 2A champion Lewisburg in the first round of states.</p><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a recognition from the other coaches in the conference, in terms of recognizing what kind of player he is. Here at Sem we&#8217;ve been able to see that, and him, for years,&#8221; Wyoming Seminary head coach Rev. Charles Carrick said of Kim. &#8220;A four-year starter, and somebody who&#8217;s just always, always, always working hard, and working hard on behalf of the team. I think that&#8217;s the one thing that stands out in terms of his play. He scores goals for us, but the work that he does off the ball, just trying to lock down that midfield and control the play is just huge.</p><p>&#8220;The all-state recognition, I&#8217;m so exicited for him. I&#8217;m so happy for him.&#8221;</p><p>As the top scorer in Division 2, Wnuk was a key reason for the Black Knights&#8217; success this season, helping them finish toward the top of the division. However, Lake-Lehman did fall to Lakeland in the first round of the District 2 2A playoffs.</p><p>&#8220;Nick has been a tremendous asset to our program the past four years,&#8221; Lake-Lehman head coach Mike Kostrobala said of the Black Knights captain. &#8220;He&#8217;s been an excellent role model and student athlete. It was a pleasure watching him develop the past four years.&#8221;</p><p>All three all-state players were first-team all-stars in their respective Wyoming Valley Conference divisions.</p><p>This year the Wyoming Valley Conference was awarded three all-state player honors.</p><p>The number of player honors is determined by the number of paid PSCA member head coaches within the league. The Wyoming Valley Conference was awarded three honorees for having 12-24 paid PSCA member head coaches. The league then ranks the top players within the league and submits the nomination to the PSCA All-State Chairman.</p><style>
