Coroner: Plains Township woman died in one-car crash

<p>The Wyoming Valley Woman&#8217;s Club (WVWC) met at Genetti&#8217;s in Wilkes-Barre and honored Kathryn Hughes, Kingston, as Woman of the Year. Hughes is well known throughout the Valley for her volunteer work. A plaque was presented to her by Audrey Milford, president of the WVWC and Doris Merrill, Woman of the Year chairperson. Membership in the WVWC is open to all women in the Wyoming Valley. For information contact Suanne Moses, membership chairperson, at 570-822-4976. At the presentation are Katheryn Hughes, Hugh Hughes, Milford and Merrill.</p><style>
