Red alert: tracking those long lights in Greater Wilkes-Barre

<p>Snow is in the forecast for the Wyoming Valley this upcoming week.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 36 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.</p><p>Today is expected to be sunny with a high near 40 degrees.</p><p>Snow comes into the forecast tonight into Monday, with precipitation likely after 2 a.m. The low will be around 34. Less than one inch accumulation possible.</p><p>Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain between 10 a.m. and noon. The high will be near 43.</p><p>Monday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 29.</p><p>Tuesday will be mostly cloudy again, with a high near 40. There is a chance of rain and snow before 4 p.m., which will switch to rain between 4 and 5 p.m., and finishing as snow after 5 p.m.</p><p>Tuesday night will see more rain before 1 a.m., then a mix of rain and snow.
