Lynn Jumper of Duryea named Employee of the Month at Golden Technologies, Inc.

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; George R. Shadie, an agent for New York Life, has earned membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 2016.</p><p>MDRT is an international, independent association of the world&#8217;s best life insurance and financial services professionals. This is the 61st year New York Life has dominated the MDRT in the United States.</p><p>Shadie has been a New York Life agent since 1989 and is association with New York Life&#8217;s Northeastern Pennsylvania general office in Scranton.</p><p>He received a $10,000 Quality of Life grant from the MDRT Foundation in 2002 and 2011 for his volunteer work with Supporting Autism and Families Everywhere (SAFE). He is present and co-founder of SAFE and a past president and board member of the Estate Planning Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania.</p><p>Shadie earned his CLU through the American College. He is a graduate of Wyoming Seminary and Wilkes University.</p><p>Shadie resides in Drums with his son, Alex.</p><style>
