Flynn investigated by Army for wrongly sharing intelligence

CINCINNATI (AP) — The judge in the murder retrial of a white former University of Cincinnati police officer accused of killing a black motorist during a traffic stop has imposed a gag order, after saying she intends to keep the case in Cincinnati. Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Leslie Ghiz (GIZ) wrote Wednesday that she issued the protective order to attorneys and other parties in the case against discussing it with the news media to prevent coverage of statements that could influence the jury pool or trial outcome. Ghiz earlier set Ray Tensing's retrial for May 25 and said she plans to seat a jury without changing venue. The 27-year-old white defendant is charged with murder and voluntary manslaughter in the July 2015 traffic-stop shooting of black motorist Sam DuBose. The first trial's judge imposed a gag order before it ended in a mistrial.
