PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Pennsylvania man and his wife who were wrongfully accused of passing counterfeit $100 bills at a casino can't sue the casino or the state police who arrested them. Pennlive.com (http://bit.ly/2h4hfgO ) says the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled troopers and officials at Harrah's Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack weren't wrong to accuse the couple — even though information they found on a U.S. Secret Service website was incorrect. Vincent Damico and his wife, Victoria Gosicki, were arrested in November 2012 after casino workers thought their money looked fake. When a state trooper arrived to investigate, he checked the bills on the Secret Service site and they came back as "known counterfeits." Federal prosecutors dropped the charges after a Secret Service lab examined the bills and found they were real.
