Baptism by ice: Alaskans make annual plunge into frigid lake

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Highway 81 Revisited has announced the Holiday Reunion Concert featuring six local acts at 7 p.m. Dec. 30 in the Chandelier Lobby of the F.M. Kirby Center, 71 Public Square.</p><p>A press release from the Kirby Center describes the musical showcase as a &#8220;holiday homecoming for local bands past and present.&#8221;</p><p>The bill features Underground Saints, The Five Percent, Bret Alexander, Aaron Fink &amp; The Fury, Death Valley Dreams and the Tony Halchack Band.</p><p>Each of these acts have reached marked levels of success in touring and creating original music.</p><p>Tickets cost $12 in advance and $15 the day of the show. They are on sale now and available at the Kirby Center box office, online at kirbycenter.org and by phone at 570-826-1100.</p><style>
