<p>LARKSVILLE &#8212; Police are asking residents to secure doors and windows on their homes, as well as to remove valuables from their vehicles and keep the vehicles locked, after two incidents in the borough.</p><p>Police responded to a report around 3 p.m. Thursday of a suspicious male walking through backyards in the area of Robin and Sparrow drives.</p><p>Police also responded to a report of an attempted home invasion at 1:10 a.m. Friday on Pace Street. An unlock backdoor allowed an individual to enter a home, police said. The homeowner, who was sleeping at the time of the attempt, was awoken by the perpetrator, according to police. The individual reportedly left through the front door after the homeowner told the suspect he was armed.</p><p>Police are asking residents to call 911 immediately if they see or hear anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. According to the department&#8217;s Facebook page, borough officers would rather be called to a situation and find it was nothing than miss the opportunity to prevent criminal incidents.</p><style>
