Flavor of the Week: A little fantasy advice for the holidays

<p>A winter weather advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. in the Wyoming Valley.</p><p>The National Weather service issued the advisory for most of Northeastern Pennsylvania, warning a light glaze, mainly in the higher elevations, could have a negative impact on driving today. Accumulations of less than a tenth of an inch possible.</p><p>There is a chance for a light wintry mix of rain, freezing rain and sleet, but will become all rain by 10 a.m. as temperatures rise.</p><p><strong>The forecast</strong></p><p>The National Weather service indicated it was 40 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport.</p><p>Today will be cloudy, with rain before 10 a.m. High near 41. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent, with accumulations of up to a quarter of an inch possible.</p><p>Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 32.</p><p>Christmas Day will be partly sunny, with a high near 40. The evening will be partly cloudy with a low around 27.</p><p>Monday there is a slight chance of freezing rain before 10 a.m., then a chance of rain showers.
