<p>Rain and snow are predicted to fall in the Wyoming Valley as the holiday weekend approaches.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 34 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are expected today, with a high near 35.</p><p>Clouds will stick around into tonight, and there will be a slight chance of snow into the early-morning hours of Thursday. The low will be around 28.</p><p>Snow is likely before noon on Thursday, followed by rain and snow into the afternoon hours. Less than an inch of snow is expected, and the high will be near 36.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Thursday night, along with a slight chance of snow. The low will be around 27.</p><p>Friday will once again bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a chance of snow showers.
