AAA: Average gas prices climbed by 5 cents from last week

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police are investigating an attempted abduction of a teenage girl.</p><p>Police said the girl&#8217;s mother reported the incident at 7:10 p.m. on Dec. 16. The 14-year-old girl reported to police that a masked man forced her into a vehicle outside of her residence on North Pennsylvania Avenue.</p><p>The girl also reported to police that the man may have had green eyes, and the vehicle was possibly silver.</p><p>The man then allegedly drove several blocks before the girl was able to escape the vehicle, flee to local business, and call her mother.</p><p>Police said the girl was not injured, and no further information on the suspect is available.</p><style>
