<p>Parents and students in the stands at a high school basketball game in Ohio raised the concept of &#8220;rivalry&#8221; to a whole other plane Friday night, scuffling in a brawl that the conference commissioner blamed on adults.</p><p>The Wooster Generals had just beaten the Lexington Minutemen, 63-41, in an Ohio Cardinal Conference battle between undefeated teams in Lexington when the fight broke out behind the scorer&#8217;s table. Raw video shows mostly adults arguing before the scrap escalates. Wooster students also were involved in the brawl, according to Mansfield News Journal reporter Connor Casey.</p><p>&#8220;To say the least I&#8217;m embarrassed,&#8221; Ohio Cardinal Conference Commissioner Ron Dessecker told Cleveland&#8217;s Fox affiliate.</p><p>&#8220;The kids are okay. It&#8217;s just the parents. It&#8217;s the adults, whether it be in the state of Ohio or in this country. You see these situations and it&#8217;s appalling. it&#8217;s just something that I really do not like to deal with, to be honest with you.&#8221;</p><p>In an open letter addressed to parents, students and community members, Wooster principal Tyler Keener and Athletic Director Andy Kellar asked &#8220;for your support in providing positive role-modeling for our student-athletes&#8221; and outlined the expectations for fans. They issued the reminder that &#8220;Profanity, degrading remarks and intimidating actions directed at officials, competitors and other fans will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the event site.&#8221;</p><p>Players were held in the locker rooms until the gym was cleared. Although there were no immediate arrests, police were investigating the incident. Lexington police told the News Journal that there were only minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.</p><p>The two schools are roughly halfway between Cleveland and Columbus.</p><style>
