Virginia man sentenced in Ohio high school hacking case

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia man has been shot four times at point-blank range and killed while changing the brakes on his car. Police say the victim had just jacked up his car and had his back turned when the shooter approached about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the city's West Oak Lane section. Police Chief Inspector Scott Small says the shooter used a large-caliber, semi-automatic weapon to shoot the 26-year-old victim before running away. Police say three of the victim's friends were nearby when the shooting occurred. The victim was taken to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Police haven't released his name. Police are trying to find surveillance video from the area. They say the shooter was wearing all black clothing. No one has been charged.
