<p>Joseph Padavan, president of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council, announced the renaming of its labor Christmas project the &#8220;Annual Walter Klepaski, Jr. Greater Wilkes-Barre Labor Council Unions Care Christmas Project.&#8221; The project was named in honor of Walter Klepaski, Jr., who served as the AFL-CIO Community Services liaison for the labor council and United Way of Wyoming Valley for over 33 years, retiring in 2013.
