Permits to carry concealed weapons up more than 1,000 in Luzerne County

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; A woman was arrested Wednesday after soliciting residents for a carpet cleaning business.</p><p>According to police, Cheynne Brown, 26, was arrested in the Hanover Green section of the township at 5:50 p.m. after a police investigation for suspicious activity. Brown and another individual were in the township soliciting.</p><p>Brown was wanted by the Luzerne County Sheriff&#8217;s Office for failure to appear in court on a theft by unlawful taking charge. She was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.</p><style>
