Police: Gun shot wound victim does not provide much information

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A suspect attempted to enter a home on Madison Street at about 10 p.m. Friday, but was chased away by the owners.</p><p>Police said Juan Pereda, 29, from Mexico tried to enter the home without permission, and received injuries from the occupant when he attempted to prevent him from entering.</p><p>The suspect was treated at a local hospital and then transported to police headquarters were immigration officials were contacted.</p><p>He was then transported to Luzerne County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.</p><style>
