In debt and afraid: dealing with debt collectors

<p>Mixed precipitation is expected to impact the Wyoming Valley as a storm system enters the region.</p><p>The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Luzerne and Lackawanna counties from 1 p.m. today until 1 p.m. Tuesday.</p><p>Rain is expected this morning, and will mix with snow and sleet this afternoon as cold air moves into the area. Most of the region will see a wintry mix into this evening, and that wintry mix is expected to continue into Tuesday morning.</p><p>The wintry mix could be heavy at times, with anywhere from 3 to 5 inches of heavy, wet snow and sleet possible. Winds could also gust as high as 40 miles per hour.</p><p>A wintry weather advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.</p><p><strong>Through the midweek</strong></p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 40 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.</p><p>Rain is likely before 4 p.m. today, followed by rain and sleet. Less than half an inch of daytime sleet accumulation is expected, and winds could also gust as high as 24 miles per hour. Today&#8217;s high will be near 41.</p><p>Tonight will bring rain and sleet before 7 p.m., followed by rain between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. and a mix of rain and snow overnight. Up to 2 inches of new accumulation is possible, and the low will be around 35.</p><p>Tuesday will once again bring rain and snow before 1 p.m., followed by a chance of rain into the evening hours. Less than half an inch of snow accumulation is expected, and the high will be near 37.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Tuesday night, with a low around 30.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are expected Wednesday, with a high near 44.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, along with a slight chance of rain before 1 a.m. and a chance of rain and snow overnight.
