<p>READING &#8212; UGI Utilities was the victim of an email-based phishing scam and information about approximately 1,900 former and current employees was compromised, according to a press release issued Thursday.</p><p>The company is notifying all individuals who may have been affected by the event.</p><p>UGI Utilities&#8217; customer information systems were not breached, and no customer information was compromised, according to the release.</p><p>The company is working with law enforcement and is taking steps to assist former and current employees who have been affected.</p><style>
