Nittany Lions looking to load up on signing day

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; A Hanover Township man accused of breaking the leg of his girlfriend&#8217;s 3-year-old son is headed to trial on an aggravated assault charge.</p><p>Damion Lourick, 42, waived a single count of aggravated assault Tuesday at a preliminary hearing. Charges of simple assault and endangering the welfare of children were withdrawn.</p><p>According to criminal complaint:</p><p>On Nov. 15, Lourick, 42, broke the child&#8217;s femur when he threw him onto his bed and hit him twice on the behind. This came after the child was running around the house after he should have been in bed.</p><p>The child&#8217;s mother, Nicole Knickerbocker, called for an ambulance after she heard the child crying and found his leg swollen. When police and EMS arrived, Lourick had already left the scene, after Knickerbocker sent him to get ice for the boy&#8217;s leg.</p><p>On Nov. 16, Lourick spoke with police and admitted to causing the injury, saying that it was accidental and that he had not meant to hurt the boy.</p><p>Lourick has a court date set for April 6 and is free on $25,000 unsecured bail.</p><style>
