DA: Morrisville man charged with 5 counts of child rape a ‘real-life boogeyman’

<p>JACKSON TWP. &#8212; The township supervisors approved the officers of the Back Mountain Regional Emergency Management Agency for 2017 at Monday night&#8217;s meeting.</p><p>Supervisor John J. Wilkes Jr. will represent the township on the board.</p><p>The Back Mountain Regional EMA is a multi-municipal emergency management service encompassing Dallas, Franklin, Jackson, Kingston and Lehman townships and Dallas Borough. Each participating municipality appoints one representative to serve as an EMA officer, Wilkes Jr. said.</p><p>The 2017 EMA officers are:</p><p>&#8226; Alan Pugh, chief 1, of Dallas Township</p><p>&#8226; Jim Welby, deputy chief 2, Lehman Township</p><p>&#8226; Harry Vivian, deputy chief 3, Dallas Borough</p><p>&#8226; Gary Biesel, deputy chief 4, Kingston Township</p><p>&#8226; Wilkes, deputy chief 6, Jackson Township</p><p>Franklin Township has not appointed anyone to the deputy chief 5 position, Wilkes said.</p><p>Also, supervisors approved the amended and restated Articles of Agreement to continue its membership in the Back Mountain Community Partnership.</p><p>There were no changes to the agreement, Wilkes said. Participating BMCP members are required to renew the agreement annually, he said.</p><p>The BMCP includes Dallas, Franklin, Jackson, Kingston and Lehman townships, Dallas and Harveys Lake boroughs.</p><p>The next Jackson Township supervisor meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on March 6 in the municipal building.</p><style>
