KINGSTON - For the seventh consecutive year during the month of February the Hoyt Library, 284 Wyoming Ave., is making it possible for you to find your perfect match with their &#8216;Blind Date with a Book&#8217; program.Visit the library and choose any uniquely wrapped, &#8216;blind date&#8217; books on display. No peeking allowed. You won&#8217;t know the identity of your &#8216;blind date&#8217; until you get home. All the information about the book is hidden, except its category.Good impressions, answering or asking any embarrassing questions, or even paying the check is not necessary. In fact, nothing is exposed on this date except a barcode. Most importantly, if it is not what you have been looking for in a relationship, just return your &#8216;date&#8217; to the library, with no one&#8217;s feelings ever getting hurt.However, when returning the book, a Rate-a-Date sheet located inside the book is needed to be completed to let the library know if your date was a perfect match, or a perfect disaster.You have nothing to lose and an opportunity to find a new author, or new interest; in other words a new true love with books.For additional information, call the library at 570-287-2013.
