Luzerne County audit questions magisterial office leases

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; A 9-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle Wednesday but did not appear to be seriously hurt.</p><p>Crews were dispatched to the area of South Main and Chester streets at 7:48 a.m. for a report of a child hit by a vehicle.</p><p>Police Chief Albert Walker said that per reports from officers on the scene, the juvenile attempted to cross the street and he was struck.</p><p>The vehicle on the scene appeared to have a damaged passenger-side mirror. Although the boy did not appear to be seriously injured, Walker said he was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center by ambulance.</p><p>Walker said there was no indication of &#8220;inappropriate driving behavior&#8221; by the driver, and that the matter remains under investigation.</p><style>
