Follow that car! Toll-collecting bureaus step up enforcement

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Nine individuals are facing charges after an investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police and Luzerne County District Attorney&#8217;s Office discovered visitors passing contraband to prisoners at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility, according to a state police press release.</p><p>According to the release:</p><p>A hole in a visiting booth at the prison was being used to pass contraband, including heroin, marijuana and other drugs, into the facility.</p><p>Charges are pending against the following:</p><p>&#8226; Joshua Shane Miller, 28, of Wilkes-Barre. Charges: Contraband, criminal conspiracy/contraband, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; Nicolette Hadvance, 24, of Plymouth. Charges: Contraband, criminal conspiracy/contraband, criminal use of a communication facility, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; Frances Padilla, 26, of Nanticoke. Charges: Contraband, criminal conspiracy/contraband, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; David A Popish, 38, of Pittston. Charges: Contraband, criminal conspiracy/contraband, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; Michelle Popish, 36, of Pittston. Charges: Contraband, criminal conspiracy/contraband and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; Derek L. Spaide, 25, of Kingston. Charges: Contraband, criminal conspiracy/contraband, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; Robert D. Deleo, 23, of Scranton. Charges: Criminal conspiracy/contraband, delivery of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><p>&#8226; Melissa A. Rooney, 24, of Nanticoke. Charges: Criminal conspiracy/contraband, criminal use of a communications facility and possession of drug paraphernalia.</p><style>
