<p>HARVEYS LAKE &#8212; Grotto Pizza was damaged by an early morning fire on Friday, but the Grand Slam Sports Bar will be open tonight and the restaurant may open for dinner with a limited menu, co-owner Armand Mascioli said.</p><p>The landmark restaurant sustained smoke and water damage following a fire in the laundry room that was reported at 2:12 a.m. Friday.</p><p>The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the state marshal, Harveys Lake Fire Chief Michael Avery said.</p><p>Mascioli said a professional cleaning company is on site to sanitize the kitchen to meet the Department of Agriculture regulations. A Department of Agriculture representative is also on site, he said.</p><p>&#8220;We hope to be open for dinner tonight with a limited menu,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The Grand Slam Sports Bar will be open.&#8221;</p><p>The limited menu will likely include only pizza products, Mascioli said.</p><p>Patrons are asked to call the restaurant at 570-639-3278 or visit www.grottopizzapa.com to see if the dining room is open.</p><p>Mascioli said employees and cleaning staff were gone when the fire occurred.</p><p>&#8220;The cleaning staff left about a half hour before the fire started,&#8221; Mascioli said. &#8220;The Harveys Lake Police and Fire responded very quickly.&#8221;</p><p>Other fire departments who responded are Idetown Volunteer Fire Department, Kunkle Fire and Ambulance Department, Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company and Kingston Borough Fire Department.</p><style>
