NJ Judge: Bridge case complaint against Gov. Chris Christie can proceed

<p>Two men have been charged in connection to a Scranton bank robbery.</p><p><a href="http://fox56.com/news/local/arrests-made-in-scranton-bank-robbery" target="_blank">Anthony Lawson, 31, and Michael Vines, 42, are accused</a> of robbing the Citizens Bank on Cedar Avenue.</p><p>Lawson was arrested by the United States Marshals Service&#8217;s fugitive task force Tuesday in New Jersey. Vines was arrested by Scranton police on Monday in Lackawanna County.</p><p>According to police reports:</p><p>Lawson walked into the bank Jan. 30 and asked the teller about opening an account. Lawson then passed a note that read &#8220;Gimme yo money.&#8221; The teller told police the suspect demanded &#8220;everything you got, no dye packs.&#8221;</p><p>The teller gave the man all the money from the drawer. Police say it amounted to more than $3,500.</p><p>He then left the bank and the teller hit the alarm, telling other workers they had been held up.</p><p>Police studied surveillance video from several locations across town and located where Lawson got into a car.</p><p>Vines admitted to police he was driving that car, a Chevy Impala, which had been rented in his name from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. When questioned, Vines said his girlfriend was in the car with him at the time. Police say she is complying with the investigation, and she is not being charged at this time.</p><p>Video evidence shows Vines removed the rental license plate while waiting for Lawson to return from the bank. Vines was parked in the rear parking lot of Logan&#8217;s Used Tires on Pittston Avenue.</p><p>Vines is jailed in Lackawanna County, facing charges of conspiracy.</p><p>Lawson is awaiting extradition from New Jersey, facing charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft, and other related crimes.</p><style>
