<p>Anthony Bartoli, a Democrat from Laflin, is running for a seat on the Luzerne County Council.</p><p>Bartoli, 24, graduated from Coughlin High School in Wilkes-Barre and has a bachelor&#8217;s degree in communication studies with concentrations in public relations and rhetoric from Wilkes University.</p><p>He currently works in management at Enterprise Rent-a-Car and performs volunteer work with Zebra Communications, the student-run public relations agency at Wilkes.</p><p>Bartoli said he is concerned with the state of the county, both economically and socially. His announcement said he supports spending conservatively and treating everyone with &#8220;respect, dignity and equality.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;I believe that everyone should be seen as equal in the eyes of any level of government,&#8221; he wrote. &#8220;I want to give every resident of Luzerne County an equal chance at success regardless of experience, education, or situation.&#8221;</p><p>Bartoli said he would donate his council salary if he is elected &#8212; half to county nonprofit organizations and half for a scholarship available to high school seniors.
