Police: Domestic dispute leads to arrest

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; An 18-year-old died Friday after his motorbike crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of South Pennsylvania Boulevard and Dana Street.</p><p>Daniel Hogan Jr. of Wilkes-Barre died at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center as a result of his injuries, the Luzerne County Coroner&#8217;s Office reported.</p><p>There has not been an autopsy, and there is not one scheduled, said Mary Wallace, coroner&#8217;s office administrator.</p><p><a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/local/637731/one-man-injured-in-motorcycle-crash-in-wilkes-barre" target="_blank">Police at the scene told a Times Leader reporter</a> they received a call for a crash just before 3:30 p.m. and quickly blocked off Dana Street from South Main Street to the boulevard.</p><p>&#8220;There was no pursuit,&#8221; an officer said in response to having a police K-9 search roadside areas near the crash site.</p><p>A green dirt bike was seen on its side at the nearby Builders&#8217; Supply Co.</p><p>According to his obituary in the Monday&#8217;s edition of the newspaper, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. today in St. Andrew Parish, Wilkes-Barre.</p><p>The incident remains under investigation.</p><p><ins>For other local police-related stories, <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/category/crime" target="_blank">click here</a>.</ins></p><style>
