St. Jude’s celebrates Catholic Schools Week

<p>The Health Center at Mountain Top, 237 S. Mountain Blvd. (Weis Plaza), now offers adult and pediatric speech therapy services.</p><p>Speech therapist and longtime Mountain Top resident, Maria Danishefsky, obtained bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s degrees in speech language pathology from Bloomsburg University, and holds her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.</p><p>Some broad speech problem categories such as aphasia, caused by a brain injury to the speech centers of the brain; articulation disorder, substituting one letter for another in speech or making a distorted sound when speaking; and dysfluency disorder, which presents as stuttering, can be overcome with speech therapy.</p><p>For more information, call 570-501-4LVH.</p><p>For other business stories, <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/category/business" target="_blank">click here</a>.</p><style>
