The Plains Parks and Recreation Board is accepting applications for their summer employment and playground programs. All applicants must be residents of Plains.Applicants who are presently enrolled in college and are education majors can apply for the playground program. They must be able to organize, instruct and supervise recreational, playground, and arts and crafts activities for Plains Township children ages 5-12.For the summer employment program applicants must be graduating high school students who will be attending college in the fall, 2017, or presently enrolled in college. College applicants must submit proof of the college or university they are attending.Qualified applicants can pick up applications between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Plains Township Municipal Building, 126 N. Main St. Deadline to submit applications is April 28, 2017.
