Friends of Beltzville State Park, a nonprofit group started two years ago to enhance the park outside Lehighton, took on the project to restore the bridge built by the Buck family in 1841, said John Dworsky, who is heading the project. "We're looking to restore it and keep beautiful for another 150 years," he said. The bridge carried horses and buggies across Pohopoco Creek in its day, and was moved to its present location inside the park when Beltzville Lake was created in the late 1960s and early 1970s. DEER HUNTING — Officials say hunters in Pennsylvania posted the largest harvest of antlered deer since 2002 during the last hunting season. HEINZ-MAD MEN ADS — Heinz is launching ketchup ads inspired by the TV show "Mad Men." LACKAWANNA HOUSE FIRE— Fire officials in Lackawanna County say a fire damaged a house. Authorities tell WNEP-TV (http://bit.ly/2mn3nQF) that the blaze started inside the Jefferson Township home around 7 p.m. Monday. Crews were able to contain the fire. THREE VEHICLE CRASH — Authorities in Westmoreland County say a crash has left one person dead. Police say 47-year-old Tamara Wolf was travelling south on State Route 819 when she lost control and veered into oncoming traffic around 1:30 p.m. Monday. Investigators say Wolf struck a carrier truck before spinning and hitting another vehicle. ALLENTOWN HOUSE FIRE— Fire officials in Lehigh County are investigating a fire that damaged three rowhomes. The Morning Call reports (http://bit.ly/2niB0If) firefighters were called to an Allentown house fire around 3:30 p.m. Monday. Officials say the fire at the first house then spread to two others.
