Local periodontist speaks to LCCC dental students

NANTICOKE - A conference entitled &#8216;Intellectual Disability (ID) and Alzheimer&#8217;s Disease&#8217; will be held 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 31, at Luzerne County Community College&#8217;s Educational Conference Center, 1333 S. Prospect St.The conference will provide participants with a better understanding of how to support an individual with ID and alzheimer&#8217;s disease. One of the sessions will include a presentation by attorneys certified in elder law focusing on special needs planning and the documents required to support this process.The training is sponsored by Luzerne-Wyoming Counties Mental Health and Developmental Services in cooperation with the Luzerne-Wyoming Counties Training Council on Quality and The Alzheimer&#8217;s Association Greater PA Chapter, Wilkes-Barre.There is no cost to attend.
