<p>Temperatures are expected to climb this weekend, but some mixed precipitation could impact the area into Friday.</p><p>According to a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service, light or freezing rain is possible late tonight ahead of an approaching front. The precipitation is expected to transition to rain by late Friday morning.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 18 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.</p><p>Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 38. Clouds will increase tonight, with a low around 28.</p><p>Rain, freezing rain, and sleet is possible before 4 p.m. Friday, followed by a slight chance of rain after 5 p.m. Little or no ice or sleet accumulation is expected. The high will be near 47.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Friday night, with a low around 47.</p><p>Saturday will bring cloudy skies, along with a 40 percent chance of rain. The high will be near 59.</p><p>Those cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, along with a 40 percent chance of rain. The low will be around 42.</p><p>Cloudy skies are expected to round out the weekend on Sunday, along with a 70 percent chance of rain. The high will be near 46.</p><p>Sunday night will also bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a 60 percent chance of rain.
