<p>Sunny skies are expected through Thursday, but rain is expected to return to the Wyoming Valley into Thursday night.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 39 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will gradually clear today, with a high near 59. Mostly clear skies will follow into tonight, with a low around 30.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies are predicted for Thursday, with a high near 52.</p><p>Clouds will gather into Thursday night, and rain will be likely. Up to a quarter of an inch of rainfall is possible, and the low will be around 36.</p><p>Cloudy skies and rain will round out the week on Friday, but no rainfall amounts have been predicted.
