Police apparently leave evidence behind after girl, 8, is reportedly shot

<p>Sunshine is expected to stick around today, but rain is expected to move into the region for most of the weekend.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 32 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.</p><p>Partly sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 50.</p><p>Cloudy skies will follow into tonight, along with rain likely after midnight. Up to a quarter of an inch of total rainfall is possible, and the low will be around 35.</p><p>Rain will continue to be likely as the workweek ends on Friday, and up to three quarters of an inch of rain could fall. The high will be near 42.</p><p>Friday night will once again bring the likelihood of rain, and another half an inch of rainfall is possible. The low will be around 38.</p><p>Rain will continue to be likely before 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by a chance of showers from 9 a.m. until noon and a chance of rain into the afternoon hours. No rainfall amounts have been predicted. The high will be near 48.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies are predicted for Saturday night, along with a slight chance of rain before 9 p.m. The low will be around 37.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the weekend on Sunday, with a high near 55.
