<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Robert Stiekes, of Moosic, has been named chief operating officer of Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, it was announced by CEO Cor Catena.</p><p>Stiekes earned a degree in accounting from Bob Jones University and an MBA from Valdosta State University. He has been a chief financial officer for 18 years, serving the last five years as market chief financial officer for Commonwealth Health&#8217;s Scranton hospitals.</p><p>He has been active in community organizations having served on boards of local community centers and Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
