<p>HAZLETON &#8212; Police are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at Pence&#8217;s.</p><p>Police say they responded to the 586 Alter St., at 5:45 p.m. April 6 for the report of an armed robbery.</p><p>The victim reported that a white male approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing tan khakis, a black hoodie and a red bandana over his face entered the location and brandished a handgun.</p><p>The suspect stole approximately $2,000 dollars and fled east on 5th Street in a silver Ford Explorer.</p><p>Police say an active investigation is underway.</p><p>Anyone who can identify the suspect is asked to call the Hazleton City Police Department by calling 911, going online and submitting an anonymous tip at hazletonpolice.com or by dialing 274637 from any cellular telephone and placing in the words mytips a space and then the information.
