<p>A chance of rain will stick around the Wyoming Valley for most of this weekend, and some thunderstorms could roll into the area on Sunday.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 39 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will gradually clear today, and the high will be near 63. Mostly clear skies are expected tonight, with a low around 41.</p><p>Saturday will once again bring mostly cloudy skies, along with a 40 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the high will be near 64.</p><p>Cloudy skies will carry over into Saturday night, along with a 30 percent chance of showers before 2 a.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 56.</p><p>Mostly sunny skies will round out the week on Sunday, along with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Winds could also gust as high as 28 mph. Sunday&#8217;s high will be near 81.</p><p>Sunday night will bring a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. and showers will become likely overnight.
