Our view: Take the time to enjoy all spring offers

<p>MOOSIC &#8212; Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders second baseman Rob Refsnyder is getting hot at just the right time.</p><p>Losing their second game to the Buffalo Bisons in two days on Saturday, Refsnyder has been a bright spot in the RailRiders lineup as of late. He&#8217;s 4-for-10 with two doubles, three runs scored and a pair of walks in his last three games.</p><p>The utility man scored both of the RailRiders&#8217; runs in their 10-2 loss on Saturday.</p><p>&#8220;He&#8217;s one of the guys we&#8217;re going to need in the order. Him and Solano,&#8221; Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders manager Al Pedrique said. &#8220;We need to get those two going like everybody else, but at the top of the order, if they can get on base, we can do a lot of good things. Today, Refsnyder showed the type of hitter he can be. He&#8217;s swinging a short, compact swing. He drove the ball with authority and we&#8217;re hoping he&#8217;ll be consistant with that approach.&#8221;</p><p>The big thing that RailRiders hitting coach P.J. Pilittere has been working on with Refsnyder has been his posture. At times the 26-year-old he can lean at the baseball with his upper half.</p><p>&#8220;It was making his swing not as short as he wanted it to. He&#8217;s real concious of it now,&#8221; Pilittere said. &#8220;We did some good video work, some work on the field. Starting to get back to those feelings he had when he was on fire for three seasons.&#8221;</p><p><strong>Middle of the order struggling</strong></p><p>The RailRiders&#8217; heart of their order struggled again on Saturday.</p><p>Outside of Refsnyder, who hit fourth, RailRiders batting third through seventh went 1-for-14, including Dustin Fowler, who was in the three hole and went 0-for-4. RailRiders right fielder Mason Williams was 0-for-3 with a trio of strikeouts as well.</p><p>If Scranton/Wilkes-Barre wants to take the series finale against the Bisons, the RailRiders are going to push up their 3.1 runs per game average. Buffalo is averaging 4.8 runs per game.</p><style>
