<p>After 40 days of Lent, Christians around the world celebrated the solemn Feast of Easter.</p><p>Jesus paid a debt he didn&#8217;t owe because we owed a debt we couldn&#8217;t pay. Let us take time to thank Jesus for his ultimate sacrifice.</p><p>I heard a powerful homily on Good Friday about the fact that we all carry crosses, and we are all called to reach out and help each other.</p><p>In a book by Fr. Henri Nouwen entitled &#8220;The Wounded Healer&#8221; he states, &#8220;Our own woundedness can serve as a source of strength and healing to help others.&#8221;</p><p>By reaching out, we can bring the light of Christ into a hurting world.</p><p><strong>Barbara Yanchek</strong></p><p>Jermyn, PA</p><style>
