Banking execs, Wilkes professor weigh region’s economic outlook

<p>The Wilkes-Barre Chapter of UNICO National has been named the Outstanding Chapter in the United States. In addition, the chapter received the Outstanding Local Project Award for the success of its annual All-Star Football Classic. This was the first time in 18- years that a single chapter received both honors. The Football Classic, sponsored by Anzalone Law Offices, raised in excess of $40,000, which was donated to local charities, the majority of which support mental-health causes. Local college students received $3,000 in scholarships.
