<p>EASTON, Pa. (AP) &#8212; Jurors have convicted a man whose hand was severed during what authorities called a home invasion in eastern Pennsylvania last summer.</p><p>The Northampton County panel deliberated for about 2&#189; hours Tuesday before convicting 55-year-old William Andrews Jr. of aggravated assault, burglary and related offenses.</p><p>The resident testified Monday that he used a machete July 2 after seeing two men with bandannas over their face in his basement, and was then assaulted and shot with a BB gun.</p><p>Defense attorney Alex Mills said his client, who will be sentenced May 26, was merely &#8220;in the wrong place at the wrong time.&#8221; Andrews blamed two co-defendants, saying he was unaware of their plans in going to the home.</p><p>Andrews needed several surgeries to reattach the hand, which remains in a splint.</p><style>
