<p>Sunshine will make a brief return into Thursday, but rain is expected to return and stick around through the weekend.</p><p>The National Weather Service indicated it was 51 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast skies were reported.</p><p>Mostly cloudy skies will gradually become sunny today, and the high will be near 58.</p><p>Mostly clear skies will follow into tonight, and the low will drop to around 37.</p><p>Clouds will gradually increase throughout the day on Thursday, with a high near 62.</p><p>Showers are likely after 2 a.m. on Thursday night, and up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible. The low will be around 48.</p><p>Friday will also bring a high likelihood of showers, but no rainfall amounts have been predicted. Winds could also gust as high as 22 mph.
