<p>I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who supported me during my long fight to restore my name and reputation.</p><p>The letters you sent to the local newspaper, emails and phone calls of support concerning my job performance as director of Veterans Affairs for Luzerne County was overwhelming, humbling and appreciated.</p><p>I would like to thank my family and friends who stood by me through this most difficult time in my life. To my veteran brothers and sisters, thank you for all your concern and support, especially those who advocated for me &#8212; Bob Alper, Sam Greenberg, and lastly my dear friend the late Master Sgt. Neno Sartini.</p><p>Neno spent his whole life in support and defense of his country and his fellow veterans. I know I can speak for the entire veteran community when I say that Neno is sadly missed. Just knowing him made you a better person, a better patriot, and a better American. Rest in peace my friend.</p><p>Last but not least, I would like to thank Team Borland &amp; Borland. They took my case when no one else would. They worked diligently on my behalf to an extremely successful conclusion.</p><p>Finally, John Brogna and the Pittston Disable American Veterans Post 46 received the money they were due for their 2009 Memorial Day expenses.
