RailRiders Notebook: RailRiders react to docu-series ‘Homegrown: Path to the Pinstripes’

<p><em>If you walk into any baseball clubhouse or locker room at any level &#8212; professional, college or even high school &#8212; there&#8217;s a good chance music will be blasting out of someone&#8217;s speakers. It could be country, rock, hip-hop and rap, R&amp;B, reggae or Latin music.</em></p><p><em>The same can be said as teams go through their pre-game workouts or players walk up to the plate or out of the bullpen.</em></p><p><em>Music is everywhere in baseball and it&#8217;s extremely diverse.</em></p><p><em>Each week we&#8217;ll take a look at how music influences each player&#8217;s game.</em></p><p><strong>Tyler Wade</strong></p><p><strong>INF/OF</strong></p><p><strong>Murrieta, Cali.</strong></p><p><strong>Who plays the best music? </strong>I think Mason (Williams) takes the cake on that one. He has a good taste in music. (Wilkin Castillo) does a good job, Ernesto (Frieri) does a good job, but I think Mason does the best.</p><p><strong>What&#8217;s your pregame playlist? </strong>I don&#8217;t really have one. I just kind of randomize things. Put it on shuffle and if I don&#8217;t like it I&#8217;ll switch it. I don&#8217;t really have a certain song.</p><p><strong>What&#8217;s your walk-up song? </strong>Right now I have &#8220;Goosebumps&#8221; by Travis Scott. I just like the beat. I don&#8217;t really find lyrics to pump me up. I just like the beat.</p><p><strong>Who has the oddest walk-up song?</strong> Michael O&#8217;Neill had a bad one last year (in Double-A Trenton), but I can&#8217;t think of anyone here.</p><style>
