<p>MIDDLETOWN &#8212; Players, check your tickets: a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 ticket worth $225,000 that was sold in Luzerne County for the May 31, 2016, drawing will soon expire.</p><p>The unclaimed ticket was sold by Nelly Travel Plaza, 3765 Nuangola Road, Nuangola. It correctly matched all five white balls drawn, 05-06-32-39-42, to win a prize of $225,000, less applicable tax withholding.</p><p>A prize claim must be filed with the Lottery by Wednesday, May 31, 2017.</p><p>The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages claimants to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a timely claim at any of Lottery&#8217;s seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County. Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at area Lottery offices and from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at headquarters.</p><p>By law, unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians. Although some lotteries give players only 90 or 180 days to claim a prize, Pennsylvania Lottery draw game prizes may be claimed on a business day up to one year from the drawing date.</p><p>Players should check every ticket, every time, using self-service scanners found at retailers or with the Ticket Checker on the Lottery&#8217;s official mobile app. Sign tickets immediately for proof of ownership.</p><style>
