NAMI Walk for Mental Health inspires hope in participants

<p>A local family met President Donald Trump as Keemiya Pourmonir graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn.</p><p>Pourmonir graduated as an ensign on May 17. She received her degree from the commander-in-chief as well as her sister, Ariana Lynn Mohnke-Pourmonir, a 2010 coast guard graduate.</p><p>Keemiya graduated with an electrical engineering degree and will be serve on a first-response cutter in Key West, Florida. Ariana works in Hawaii on a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ship.</p><p>Keemiya graduated from the Milton Hershey School, but spent most of her school years in the Pittston Area School District, Careen Pourmonir, Keemiya&#8217;s mother, said.</p><style>
